Engagement Story:
It was the night before our two year anniverary and we were in Minnesota. He took me to a restauant on an island on the Mississippi River. During dinner we exchanged gifts for our anniverary. He gave me a scrap book that he had made me. It consisted of photos, cards, letters, and other rememberances from our two years together. There was a sealed card taped to the back cover of the book and he told me I had to wait to open that card. After dinner we went out into the lobby to take pictures and then got ready to leave. When he opened the door to go outside, there was a horse drawn carriage waiting for us. It was going to take us on a 30 minute ride around the island. About half way through the ride, he told me I could open the card. It said "I love you" on front and "I want to spend the rest of my life with you" inside. When I looked up he was down on one knee in the carriage, with the ring in his hand. He asked me to marry him and I of course said yes. It was the mst romantic and magical night of my life!!!
