Engagement Story:
Greg and I bought a house together. The day that we signed the Deed to the house, we drove up to our house for the first time. We stepped out of the car, and he put his hand out for me to hold it. We walked up the front walk, Greg inserted the key into the door, and turned to me and smiled. As he began to open the door, he said, "Don't come in yet...don't come in." I patiently waited outside as he went inside and set up a video camera. I thought that he just wanted to film our first steps into our new home. He came back outside, picked me up and carried me over the threshold. We stood in the foyer for a minute, and he began playing with my hands and fingers. He asked me if I was ready to start a new life...here, with him. Before I could respond, he was down on one knee, ring in hand, and he asked me to marry him. I began shaking with excitement, and I was stunned for a few seconds. I was completely surprised. I responded with,"Is this real?" He said, "Yes, it's real." I told him that I meant the situation, not the ring! I felt like I was in a dream! Of course I said yes, and I am truly looking forward to becoming Mrs. Gregory Rosta.
