Rick & I found each other through a singles group on the internet. We began our relationship talking on the phone for hours prior to our first meeting. During those calls, I mentioned how much I loved fireworks. The night before our first meeting, Rick sent me an animated picture of fireworks and said that he hoped to be able to give me fireworks for the rest of my life. Months later when Rick decided to propose, he bought me spider mums colors so bright they resembled fireworks. Later that night he took me to a festival in his hometown that had the most wonderful fireworks! We sat there and watched together, commenting how each one was more beautiful than the last one. Rick then got down on one knee and told me how he loved how the fireworks sparkled in my eyes and that he asked me to marry him so we could always watch fireworks together! My answer, of course, was that I didn't want to ever have to watch fireworks without him! |
